All three formats express the same odds — only the presentation differs. A ৳1,000 bet on Team A to win at Decimal 2.25 means a return of ৳2,250 — profit of ৳1,250 plus your original ৳1,000 stake back. If you lose, the ৳1,000 is gone.
How single bets and multi bets work
Clicking any selection automatically adds it to the bet slip. Once you enter a stake, the potential return is shown immediately.
Single Bet
A bet made on just one selection. It is the simplest type of bet. When there is only one item on the slip, it shows as a single automatically.
Example: Team B to win a cricket match — Odds 2.30 (Decimal). ৳500 stake returns ৳1,150 (profit ৳650); if Team A wins, ৳500 is lost.
In a single bet, the risk is limited to one event, which makes it easier for beginners to follow.
Multi Bet
Placing two or more selections together in one bet makes it a multi bet or accumulator. All selections must win for you to receive the full return.
Example: 3 selections — Odds 1.40, 1.50 and 1.60. Combined odds 1.40 × 1.50 × 1.60 = 3.36. ৳100 stake returns ৳336 — but if even one selection loses, the full ৳100 is gone.
A multi bet offers a higher potential return, but all selections must be correct — so the risk is higher accordingly.
Favourite Odds
Odds on popular teams are usually lower because they are considered more likely to win.
Example: Team B to win, Odds 1.25 (Decimal) = Fractional 1/4 = American -400. ৳1,000 stake returns ৳1,250 (profit ৳250).
Lower odds mean less profit — though the team is assumed to have a relatively higher chance of winning.
Betting Exchange
On an exchange you can not only back a team (bet it will win) but also lay — meaning bet that a team will lose.
Example (Decimal 2.50): BACK Team A — ৳500 stake wins ৳750 profit, loses ৳500. LAY Team A — ৳500 market liability is ৳750; if Team A does not win you profit ৳500, if Team A wins you pay ৳750 (before commission).
